Description
The Yash Teak Wood Mandap shows its temple design through its tall floor design which supports its vertical structure. The top section uses a pyramid crown design which features raised edges and panel details with small decorative elements to create a traditional appearance for the mandap. A row of small hanging bells runs below the top frame and adds a fine decorative touch. The main shrine area opens with double doors that show a grid layout of sacred cutwork motifs and clean square framing. The shrine space features a plain back panel which extends across the entire width to create a peaceful atmosphere inside the shrine. The platform which extends across a wide area establishes a base for daily activities and structured operations. The shrine area features a full-width drawer which contains round knobs for convenient storage space. The base section includes double doors with geometric jaali style cutwork and an inner partitioned cabinet space that supports neat arrangement. The side panel of the design maintains visual unity through matching cutwork patterns which connect the front and side of the design. The teakwood surface displays distinct natural grain patterns which make its natural patterns visible. The second mention of teak color completes the warm and traditional presence of this mandap.
